Glogster Project

GLOGSTER is an online tool that enables us to create interactive posters or 'glogs'.

How can we create our own poster? There is a useful tutorial on www.schooltube.com that you can see below. The video was uploaded by Downers Grove Grade School District 58 the 24th February 2012.




There are many things that can be included in a a Glogster Project, such as pictues, videos, audios and so on. The more detail you add to your poster, the better.

As watching the video on your own may not be enough to understand all the features regarding a 'glog', we will watch this video together in class to ensure that everything is clear before getting down to work on your own project.

Here you have some steps you have to follow to create a nice poster:

1) You will have to log in the website. Click on 'I am a student' and fill in a registration form.

2) Once you have successfully registered, click on 'Create your first glog' and choose any template you like.

3) Then, you will be able to add anything you want to your 'glog', such as texts, graphics, images, walls, pages, audios, videos and data. You can upload that or choose them from the Internet pasting an URL. Besides, you can use your own webcam to upload videos, images or audios. Please do not show your face if you choose this option.

4) After adding anything, click on 'Use it' or 'Save' to ensure that the new feature does not change.

5) When you finish your poster, click on 'Save' and give it a name. Do not forget to write the names of the team members anywhere on the poster.
